In this tour programme you can see two different country of the Himalaya and India. India will amaze you with its size and diversity and population of course. As it is the vast country with so many diversities you will get the best opportunity to explore in many forms. The palaces and temples of centuries back with its cultural importance are worth to visit. The Landmark Tajmahal possibly the most visited shrine.

Tibet is the land of awesome landscapes and ancient Buddhist Cultures where the artistic monastery decorates the land and the centuries old caravan trail is situated. The autonomous land of China, Tibet lies on average elevation of 4000 m. Lhasa the capital city of Tibet is another attraction where the Potala Palace of the Dalai Lama is situated and other numbers of monasteries.

Trip Overview

Day 1:

Arrival Delhi Only on Thursday.
Arrive Delhi. Reception by representative and transfer to the hotel and rest day.

Day 2:

Full day in Delhi
Tour of Delhi including Red Fort n, the Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque in the India, the Raj Ghat the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi; India Gate an Arch of Commemorative victory; Presidential residence Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Parliament Sansad Bhavan and Government buildings of the secretary; Connaught place, commercial and managerial center. Overnight in the Hotel in Delhi.

Day 3:

Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast leave Delhi, drive about 5 hours to Jaipur, a nice Old Indian city. Visit Amber Fort - the old capital of the State up to 1728. Visit the Jantar Mantar or astronomical observatory. The Palace of Rajput, paintings of Mughal and weapons and the impressive Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 4:

Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra. On the way to Agra visit Fatepur Sikri.

Day 5:

Agra
Visit Taj Mahal (built by the Sha Jahan in 1631 to harbor his favorite queen's body Mumtaz Mahal). Such an incredible work in the marble. Visit red Fort of Agra which is expanded in 2 kms of distance. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 6:

Agra – Delhi
Breakfast: Departure to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 7:

Delhi - Kathmandu
Fly to Kathmandu. Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport. Welcome by our representative and transfer to your Hotel.

Day 8:

Tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Drive to Nagarkot in the evening. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.

Day 9:

Enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayan Ranges. Breakfast in Nagarkot and then drive back to Bhaktapur. Tour of Bhaktapur and Pashupatinath in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 10:

Kathmandu to Zhangmu / Naylem (3700m)
This day must be Saturday: Early morning drive to Kodari, complete immigration and custom formalities and overnight at Hotel Zhangmu or Naylam.

Day 11:

Naylem/Zhangmu to Xegar (4350m)
Crossing Lalung la passes (5050m). This day's drive offers fantastic view of the high mountain including Mount Everest.

Day 12:

Xegar to Shigatse (3900m)
Drive about 8 hrs to Shigatse has the famous Tashimpo Monastery and the seat of Panchen Lama, Overnight at Hotel.

Day 13:

Xigatse - Gyantse
After a morning visit to the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, a short two hours drive to Gyantse, a small town that once served as the capital of a small kingdom. O/N in hotel.

Day 14:

Gyantse - Lhasa (3600m)
A scenic drive through the Karo La Pass and Kamba La Pass with a very good view of the Yamdrok Tso Lake. Then you cross the mighty Brahmmaputra River to arrive in Lhasa. O/N in hotel.

Day 15-16:

Lhasa (Two full days in Lhasa)
Sightseeing and excursion of the Potala palace, the Jokhang Temple, surroundings of Barkhor Market, Drepung and Sera Monasteries. O/N in hotel.

Day 17:

Lhasa - Kathmandu
Transfer to airport to fly back to Kathmandu, whole day free and easy for shopping and sightseeing.

Day 18:

Free day
Free day for optional sightseeing or shopping, Evening join Nepali dinner and Cultural show, O/N KTM hotel.

Day 19:

Airport
Airport drive for Fly to home country.
